SCOR expands Beazley’s role to CCO of SCOR Business Solutions

French carrier SCOR, one of Europe’s big four reinsurance companies, has expanded Christopher Beazley’s role at the firm, adding the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of SCOR Business Solutions to his responsibilities, whilst retaining Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SCOR UK and SCOR Syndicate.

scor logoThis appointment, effective November 1st, 2025, follows the exit of Benjamin Auray, who will be leaving SCOR Business Solutions on December 31st, 2025.

SCOR stated, “Benjamin has played a key role in establishing the Commercial function and has made a lasting impact through his dedication and service to the Group.”

Beazley is based in London and brings a global perspective to the team, having previously lived and worked in Singapore, Houston, and Zurich, holding senior leadership roles across both broking and underwriting.

He has spent the last three years as the CEO of SCOR UK & SCOR Syndicate. Before this, Beazley held the role of CEO of MS Amlin for three years, based in Zurich.

In the past, he has also served as the CEO of London Market Group. Beazley spent over nine years at Amlin plc in senior roles such as Head of Global Clients, Managing Director Reinsurance Practice, Reinsurance Underwriting & Operations Manager, and Marine Underwriting & Operations Manager, all based in London.

He was also the Managing Director of Amlin in Singapore in 2007. Beazley started his career as a Divisional Director at Willis in 2001.
