Canopius Group, a global specialty and property & casualty re\/insurer, has announced the appointment of Adrian Phipps as Chief People Officer, effective June 2026.<\/p>\n

\"CanopiusPhipps will succeed Chief Human Resources Officer Barbara Turner, who will retire later this year following more than a decade with the organisation.<\/p>\n

In his new role, Phipps will lead Canopius\u2019 people strategy, focusing on talent development, culture, and supporting the company\u2019s continued growth. He will report to Neil Robertson, Group Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n

He is an accomplished people and HR leader with more than two decades of multi-sector leadership experience. Most recently, he served as Chief People Officer at Secret Escapes, supporting the business through a period of significant growth and change, while developing a strong people function.<\/p>\n

Previously, Phipps held various leadership positions including Director of People & Organisation at Arqiva, and HR Director for UK Personal Insurance at RSA.<\/p>\n
