Liberty Global Transaction Solutions (Liberty GTS), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance, has announced the appointment of Jared Lavinthal as Head of Tax for the Americas.<\/p>\n

\"LibertyBased in New York City, Lavinthal will report to Hilary Weiss, Head of Americas at Liberty GTS.<\/p>\n

In this role, he will underwrite insurance solutions that cover tax risks for businesses across the Americas.<\/p>\n

Lavinthal joins Liberty GTS from AIG, where he spent nearly four years as Senior M&A Underwriter (Tax). Prior to that, he served as Assistant Vice President at ASQ Underwriting.<\/p>\n

Lavinthal also spent several years working at KPMG and RSM as an M&A Tax Manager, where he managed tax due diligence and structuring projects for both U.S. and international acquisitions.<\/p>\n
